Frequently asked questions about external venetian blinds

The façade blind has movable aluminium slats whose angle is continuously adjustable — giving you full control over incoming light. A roller shutter, by contrast, rolls fully up and down with no angle adjustment.
Available are the Slim variant (smaller stack, lower box), the Duo variant (different tilt angles for the upper and lower slat sections) and the self-supporting SmartBOX with Styrodur insulation and a hidden box. Slats in C-type (80 mm) and Z-type (90 mm).
Yes. They stop the sun’s rays before the glass, so the interior heats up far more slowly than with internal shading. Slat adjustment protects against heat while still letting in diffused natural light.
