Why a sectional door

Features that make the difference.

Thermal · 60 mm ThermicGATE panel
U =0,39W/m²·K

Panels filled with polyurethane foam keep the heat inside the garage. The 60 mm ThermicGATE is the best choice for heated garages attached to the house.

Space · Vertical opening
Under the ceiling

The leaf tucks vertically under the ceiling — taking no space in front of the entrance or inside the garage.

Panels
40 / 60mm

Standard 40 mm or ThermicGATE 60 mm; section height 500–610 mm.

Track
3systems

RSC 200 (standard), high RES 350 and low RSC 80 — from just 80 mm of lintel.

Control
SOMFY remote

Side or ceiling drive, KEYGO io remote — optional photocells and smart home.

Safety

Quiet operation

A smooth, quiet run — no noise by a bedroom or the room above the garage.

Selection

Ideal for your garage.

Single-family houses

Standard track RSC 200 — required lintel from 200 mm

The most frequently chosen track for typical home garages. It needs a lintel from 200 mm and guides the door optimally under the ceiling — the proven setup for new houses and standard garage openings.

High lintels

High track RES 350 — minimum lintel height 350 mm

If you have at least 350 mm above the opening, the high RES 350 track guides the door higher — you keep the full drive-through height, with ceiling space left for the drive and lighting.

Low lintels

Low track RSC 80 — only 80 mm of lintel height is sufficient

The rescue for garages with little space above the opening — the RSC 80 track needs just 80 mm of lintel. Ideal for renovations and conversions where the standard system will not fit.

Heated garages

Panel 60 mm ThermicGATE — U = 0.39 W/m²·K for the best thermal insulation

The 60 mm ThermicGATE panel with U = 0.39 W/m²·K keeps the heat in a garage attached to the house — lower energy losses and a stable temperature all year round, winter and summer.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about garage doors

It depends on the lintel height of your garage. The standard RSC 200 track needs a lintel from 200 mm, the high RES 350 from 350 mm, and the low RSC 80 works with just 80 mm of lintel. Our advisor helps you choose based on the measurement.
The 40 mm panel is the proven, versatile standard. The 60 mm ThermicGATE panel has a thicker foam layer and better insulation (U-value = 0.39 W/m²·K) — the best choice for heated garages and garages attached to the house.
Yes. Besides manual operation we offer modern electric drives — side-mounted (saves ceiling space) or ceiling-mounted (quiet, smooth operation). You control the door with a SOMFY KEYGO io remote, and the system can add photocells and smart-home integration.
Yes. The panel construction is finger-trap safe — it protects fingers from being caught between sections. Additionally, Somfy photocells detect an obstacle in the doorway and stop the movement immediately, protecting children, pets and your car.
You can choose from 12 panel colours — from classic white 9016 through anthracite 7016 to wood-effect decors (Golden Oak, Winchester, Woodec) — and 3 groove patterns: no grooves, single groove and ribbed panel. This makes it easy to match the door to your façade and joinery.
