Frequently asked questions

Yes — claddings are mounted from outside without removing the window. The correct width of the external frame and compatibility with the chosen profile system are required.
No — claddings are mounted on the outside of the profile and affect neither the glazing unit nor the seals. The influence on the thermal weak point of the frame is negligible.
Claddings are available in all RAL colours as well as in popular wood-imitation decors: Golden Oak, Anthracite, Silver Grey and others. The external colour finish may differ from the colour of the PVC window from the inside.
An aluminium cladding is an external layer on a PVC profile — the window inside remains PVC with its thermal insulation properties and cost. An aluminium window has an aluminium profile through and through — more expensive, but available in thinner profiles.
