Types of window handles

Each handle offers different protection — from a simple child lock to the full anti-burglary class RC2.

Handle with key

Prevents unauthorised opening of the window. Indispensable in children's rooms and windows close to the floor. The key lock prevents turning the handle without the key.

Handle with button

Ideal as protection against accidental opening of the window. Opening requires simultaneously pressing the button and turning the handle.

SecuForte® handle

Innovative anti-burglary protection of class RC2. When the window is closed, the handle is locked — the sash cannot be opened from outside without a key.

Secustik® handle

Handle with alarm function — in case of a break-in attempt, an acoustic signal of approx. 85 dB is emitted. An integrated motion sensor detects touches from outside.

Double-sided handle

Handle for T-Passive Forte In/Out windows — allows opening the sash both from inside and outside. Used in windows for passive houses.

Central handle

Mounted in the centre of the window between two sashes — ideal for large double-sash windows and shop windows. Ensures closing of the entire set with one movement.

Frequently asked questions

The SecuForte® handle has a certificate of anti-burglary class RC2. When the window is closed, it is mechanically locked — it cannot be turned from outside without a key. Complies with standard DIN EN 1627.

The Secustik® handle has a built-in motion sensor and an acoustic module. In the event of a break-in attempt or touching the handle from outside, an alarm of approx. 85 dB is triggered.

We recommend handles with a key (HOPPE Atlanta with key) or with a button — a child cannot open the window without additional effort from an adult.

Yes — handles are mounted with a standardised spacing of 43 mm. The sash type (left/right) and the handle neck length should be checked. Replacement only takes a few minutes.
