Energy-efficient windows compliant with WT 2021

Uw ≤0,9 W/m²K

WT 2021 requirement: the same high insulation standards also apply to windows being replaced in existing buildings if the owner intends to take advantage of funding programmes such as “Czyste Powietrze” (Clean Air).

For those seeking proven solutions that fit perfectly within the standards of WT 2021 and the programme “Czyste Powietrze” (Clean Air), we have created the BUDVAR T-Comfort Mono window range in an energy-efficient specification, ready for fitting within the insulation layer in new builds and thermal upgrades.

Thermal chambers
7 chambers

Seven chambers in the frame form an air barrier that limits heat loss and outside noise.

Profile core
Steel reinforcement

Steel in the frame and sash stiffens the structure and gives the hardware a solid fixing.

Gaskets

Durable EPDM gaskets keep the home airtight and quiet.

Glazing unit
36 mm · triple

Low-E glass and a warm-edge spacer give a low Ug value.

Thermal performance · Uw value
0,84*W/m²K

Triple glazing with a warm-edge spacer and Ug 0.7 W/m²K. Fitted within the insulation layer, the window reduces the thermal bridge at the wall junction.

* Uw value per EN ISO 10077-2 for a simple reference window measuring 1230 × 1480 mm with the option of standard triple glazing with a warm edge.

Functional glazing matched to specific needs — protection from sun, noise or break-ins.

Absorption glass
Absorption glass
Absorbs part of the solar radiation energy and protects the room from overheating. Light transmission 32–72%. Available in various colour tints.
Reflective glass
Reflective glass
Thanks to a metal oxide layer, it reflects solar radiation and gives the facade a subtle, metallic sheen. Effective protection against overheating on the south side.
Acoustic glass
Acoustic glass
Different glass thicknesses and an enlarged space between panes provide broadband noise reduction. Indispensable on busy roads, near railway tracks and airports.
Toughened safety glass
Toughened safety glass
5× more impact-resistant than ordinary glass. Shatters into blunt small pieces — minimal risk of injury. Required by standard in glazing reaching to the floor.
Laminated safety glass VSG
Laminated safety glass VSG
Two glass panes bonded by PVB film. When broken, the shards remain stuck to the film — high security level. Used in burglar-resistant windows P4–P6.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

It is a PVC window with a monoblock frame designed for fitting within the insulation layer. The frame comes from the T-Classic Mono system and has a rounded profile, while the Z051 sash from the T-Comfort system has straight edges. The wider frame covers the insulation, so no extra finishing work is needed around the window.
The monoblock frame comes in four depths: 105, 125, 145 and 165 mm. They suit insulation from 100 to 160 mm thick. We choose the right depth for the wall build-up when we take measurements.
There are three packages to choose from. Super-warm: 3 gaskets, triple glazing with a warm-edge spacer, Uw 0.84 W/m²K. Standard+: 2 gaskets, triple glazing, Uw 0.97 W/m²K. Standard: 2 gaskets, double glazing, Uw 1.3 W/m²K.
When the window is to sit within the insulation layer, that is in a new house or in a thermal upgrade with thick insulation. Moved into the insulation, the window reduces the thermal bridge at the wall junction, and the wide frame gives a neat finish straight away. If you are replacing windows without insulating the wall, a standard or renovation frame is the better choice.
Yes. As standard, the window has hardware with an anti-prising security keep. To order, it can be upgraded to RC1 or RC2-type hardware, with more keeps, a locking handle and burglar-resistant glass.
