Frequently asked questions about PVC doors

BUDVAR PVC doors come in three variants: T-Perfekt Door (sash depth 82 mm, building depth 141 mm, opens only inwards), T-Comfort Door (70 mm, building depth 160 mm, inwards) and T-Classic Door (70 mm, building depth 128 mm, opens inwards or outwards). Each variant features a visible split between sash and infill on both sides.
T-Perfekt Door is a slim door with 141 mm building depth on an 82 mm profile, opens inwards only. T-Comfort Door is a massive design with 160 mm building depth on a 70 mm profile. T-Classic Door offers the lowest building depth of 128 mm and is the only variant that opens both inwards and outwards.
All multi-point locks in BUDVAR PVC doors reach anti-burglary class RC2. The doors are fitted with multi-point hook-and-bolt locks, operated by key or handle, that lock the sash in several places simultaneously.
BUDVAR PVC doors meet the condition Uw ≤ 1.3 W/(m²K) and are therefore suitable for energy-saving construction — including the NZEB standard.
Centralised locking is a function where a single turn of the key locks the door at several points at the same time. It replaces additional locks and noticeably increases burglary protection.
Yes. T-Perfekt Door is available with a renovation frame (lip height 65 mm, total building depth with the RENO frame 196 mm). T-Comfort Door also offers a renovation frame option (lip 39.5 mm, building depth 192 mm). For the T-Classic Door variant, the renovation frame is not available.
Yes. The doors can be fitted with an elegant pull handle or a classic door handle. With a pull handle, the door is opened from outside with a key.
BUDVAR PVC doors are available in 15 colours — from classic white (White structured foil, Cream white) through shades of grey and anthracite (Anthracite smooth, Black smooth) to natural wood decors (Walnut, Vintage pine, Polish pine, Woodec Honey oak, Norman oak, Whitened oak, Douglas).
